What we collect

Your name, email, delivery address and phone number when you order, and the names, dates and messages you ask us to print or engrave. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Why

To make and deliver your order, show your star's page, and answer your questions. We keep order records for 6 years for tax purposes.

Star pages

Each named star has a page showing the star name, date, message and chart, reached from the QR code. These pages are hidden from search engines but anyone with the link can see them.

Customer help chat

The Help assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. What you type is sent to Anthropic to generate a reply. If you ask for help from a person, we save the conversation so we can reply by email. Please don't type card details.

Cookies

The site works without optional cookies. With your permission we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure our LinkedIn advertising. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your basket is kept in your browser's local storage, not a cookie.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@yourstarabove.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
